Building off the introduction course, students will watch and assess complex body movements from the ground up. There will be an introduction to muscle assessments and how to work with injuries. We will learn and become proficient at sidelining and psoas work. We will have introductions to sport techniques such as pin and stretch, cupping, scraping, dynamic stretching, and TriggerPoint. We will learn and practice the flow of working with clients on a 10 minute rotation. We will discuss any findings, questions, and group analysis throughout the course.
This course is only for those who have taken the Introduction to Sports Mechanics and Massage. It is in a smaller location so you can get the most one-on-one time with each other and the instructor, thus the class size is limited to 6 participants.
